City Hall Barn House
The developer of this old house near Vancouver City Hall contacted Zebiak House Raising to move the
building 9.21 feet East and 3 feet north. Because the house was strategically repositioned on the
property the developer was granted permission to re-zone this lot from a single family dwelling to a
multiple conversion dwelling. As a heritage retention bonus an FSR of 0.75 was granted. The original
house had a large addition added to the west side and became a duplex, an additional infill coach house
was built in the rear of the lot. The three units sold in 2015 for $1.8 million, $1.6 million, and $1.2
million respectively.
